Today is our last day away. We had a great day visiting the gorgeous Villefranche and then back to Nice and some time at Villa Messena.

Today we visited the small town of Eze and Monte Carlo plus saw some amazing views overlooking Nice.

Arrived back in Lyon and after a lovely acapella choir performance in a gorgeous old church in the evening we spent the next morning visiting the medieval village of Perouges.

Visited the smallest cathedral in France at Viviers and then to another gorgeous hilltop town and castle in Grignan.

Went to the truly wonderful Carriers de Lumieres showing Vermeer and Van Gogh paintings and then on to Les Baux de Provence. Another great day!

Today Belinda and I went to the 12th century Senanque Abbey and saw the amazing town of Gordes in Provence.

Arrived in Avignon just ahead of the rapidly rising water level. Visited the Pope's Palace during the afternoon followed by a lovely meal there in the evening.

Visited Beaune in the Burgundy region and Chalon sur Saone...such pretty towns!

A beautiful sunny day for our visit to the Chateau de Cormatin.

After a very wet start to the day we taxied to the Lyon Fine Arts Gallery, had a lovely lunch in the square and have now boarded the Scenic Sapphire for our river cruise almost to the Mediterranean and back.

Travelled by train to Carcassonne near the Pyrenees in the south west of France.

Had a wonderful day visiting La Pedrera and Casa Batllo plus saw some flamenco on La Rambla.

Travelled to Barcelona with Emirates. As usual, a great flight with good food and service.
First day here, visited the truly beautiful Sagrada Familia.

An all day tour to Hue from Hoi An is well worth the time. Following a drive up and over the mountains visit the Imperial City, a UNESCO site, and the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda.

Visited a busy market in Ben Thanh, travelled by sampan to a musical performance and ended the day with the lovely crew on the Emerald Harmony dressing in their traditional costumes for dinner.

Travel by sampan with the obligatory life jacket to the Tam Nong Bird Sanctuary followed by a walk around a small village after a great lunch onboard the Emerald Harmony.

We crossed into Vietnam and visited Tan Chau by rickshaw, went to the Cao Dai Temple, a fish farm and wandered through a local village. Very humid today!

Today we received a blessing from some very young monks at Oudong Temple, followed by shopping at Koh Chan Silversmith Village and a fun tuktuk ride through busy Phnom Penh in the evening. Such a good day!

After a day in Phnom Penh we have boarded the beautiful Emerald Harmony for a seven night cruise. A great start with a gorgeous sunset over the pool and an excellent dinner.

It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years since the bombings in Bali. In just a matter of minutes, so many lives were changed forever. We want to take a moment to pay our respects to those who lost their lives, including 88 Australians. For those who were there and those who lost loved ones, it must seem like yesterday. The pain and loss that was felt on that day is still fresh in our minds. We stand with you today and offer our condolences. We will never forget what happened on that fateful day and we will continue to support those who were affected by it. Thank you for your strength and courage. ♥️

Plitviche Lakes National Park between Split and Zagreb. The clearest water I've ever seen in a lake and the water really is the colour in the photos...stunning.

A short stay in Brac with a timely find....a free library exchange, and a couple of days to explore lovely Split which was very busy due to a music festival nearby.

Cruising through, stopping for a swim and then spending some time on some gorgeous Croatian islands. So far we've visited Sipan, Mljet and Korcula. All have their own unique character.

Visited Montenegro on a day tour. A few hours drive, a border crossing and then a beautiful hot day in Kotor, an ancient walled city.
