Well, we think our trips are incredible, of course... but it's always great to get such amazing feedback like this. 🫶
It was our absolute pleasure to have Leanne on our recent African adventure. The way she embraced every experience and opened her heart made it another awesome trip. Thanks Leanne...we loved travelling and sharing Africa and all her beauty with you. 🥰❤️

I have always wanted to visit Africa, although l was never sure how to plan - where to go, when, and with who. And then Little Africa Tour company was recommended as a possibility back in 2020! Unfortunately, travel took a bit of a backseat for many of us for the next two years, and l forgot about Africa – until a ‘one place available for 2025’ hit my inbox!!
From my very first email to my final day on tour, and even since we have returned, the professionalism and experience of Susie and Patti has been on display. Their passion for East Africa and its people and places is second to none, while their company provides an amazing experience of incredible landscapes, welcoming people and a myriad of animals and birds living in their natural habitats. The personal relationships they share with people in local communities provided for our group of six diverse but like-minded women, a heartwarming, emotional, and very intimate look into life in East Africa.
It's hard to say what l loved the most!!
Was it the surreal image of 23 giraffe standing beside Lake Ndutu, looking over the water? Perhaps the lioness making herself comfortable in a tree? Maybe it was the pink belly of the hippo as it rolled onto its back in the waterhole? Or the lion cub sitting almost camouflaged at the foot of a tree? Possibly the hundreds of wildebeest and zebras on their never-ending migration? Or maybe the elephants swimming in Lake Manyara? The orphaned elephants at the David Sheldrick Trust? The gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest? I could go on!!
But then again, there were the people we met along the way – those living in their remote communities showed us their skills with bow and arrow, fire and mallet and the routine of daily life in the village. Whether on the water, on the road, in the air, or in the forest, our guides answered our questions and provided us with local knowledge, humour, and safe passage. And most inspiring, our visits to the schools, where we were met with singing and dancing women and children, dedicated teachers and inspiring leaders, and classrooms full of happy, smiling and affectionate students, all of whom welcomed us into their homes and their lives -such a humbling experience!
Safe to say, l am extremely happy l acted on that email – this trip was unlike any l have ever been involved with, and one l will never forget.
Thank you so much, Susie and Patti, for sharing your love and passion with us!
