Over four days, the Freycinet Experience Walk covers the entire length of the breathtaking Freycinet

emote and rarely explored corners of the Freycinet National Park. Guests then travel in the footsteps of the Oyster Bay tribe, traversing the same ancient bush tracks trodden some thirty thousand years ago. Here they discover diverse marine and wildlife, nesting lagoons, wildflowers and other unique flora. A variety of abilities are catered for and the walk covers between 28 and 37km in total. Guests can choose between challenging mountain climbs or more leisurely coastal routes before regrouping at the end of the day. Welcomed each evening to the award winning Friendly Beaches Lodge; guests enjoy stunning architecture, friendly genuine service and private rooms with comfortable beds. Exclusively for the use of the walking group (max 10 guests), the uncomplicated luxury of the lodge has remarkable powers of rejuvenation. A fine collection of artworks by prominent Tasmanian artists and a well-stocked library add to guests enjoyment. Conversation flows and friendships form quickly in this intimate atmosphere. The charming lodge hosts create sophisticated and nourishing meals with the very best Tasmanian produce, complimented by the finest of local east coast wine.
