Today I celebrate the roles I play in life. As a business owner, a community member, a coach, a mum, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend, I play many roles and love them all.

Today I am also grateful to celebrate 7 years of Dreamweaver Travel. 🎉🎉

Thank you to all my clients, my colleagues, my community, my friends and family who have supported me through these years.

To own your own business for 7 years is wonderful, but to have come out from under the Covid cloud stronger than ever is success!

🌴 Southern Florida 🌴

What an interesting and diverse place Florida is.

Here are a few travel tips from my experiences;

🦎 There is an abundance of wildlife everywhere you look. It’s easy to see Osprey, Iguana, Manatee and Alligators.

💧 A large majority of Southern Florida is Everglades with the cities all around the coastal fringes.

🇪🇸 Spanish is the predominant language.

🇨🇺 Miami is the best place to try a Cuban Sandwich and Cuban food outside of Cuba.

🚙 Uber is a really safe and reliabie way to get aroud. You can change the form of payment in your app to be your travel card.

💸 Travel cards such as Travelex are widely accepted as is cash.

🌆 Miami is an incredibly spreadout city so planning what to fo before you travel is advised and as aiways the right hotel choice and location is inportant.

I highly recommend you consider Southern Florida for your next trip away.

Fort Lauderdale

It was always depicted as a port city and somewhere you may stop before or after a cruise. It may have been an alternative to fly into for Miami.

The reality is a beautiful seaside city dotted with beachside 5 star hotels. Behind this row of hotels sits the North Beach Village Resort. North Beach Village.

This is a neighborhood and community of 9 small hotels, tapas bars, yoga studio, bakery and a small market. You can use the pools, facilities and restaurants of any of the hotels and the location is a stones throw away from the water.

It’s not often I travel somewhere and don’t want to leave. They know you by name, they remembered my coffee order and it feels like home.

This area has lovely beaches, great restaurants and I highly recommend it for your next trip to southern Florida.

Is bigger always better?

Royal Caribbean have just launched their Icon of the Seas which is a massive ship.

Again, you need to research, talk to us and we can help you decide if this is the perfect ship for you or if you need something smaller.

Either way it is certainly impressive.

You have to see how the hotel makes you feel, are you comfortable with your choice? Where is there to eat nearby and what sort of neighborhood is it in?
