Nothing like a dance party on a 20km hike to ‘shake it off’… love these women!
Our Tomaree Coastal Walk weekend got off to a wet start. BUT a slight change of plans and a flip of the itinerary and we were excited to be off and hiking! #womenembraceadventure #hikingwomen #portstephens #TomareeCoastalWalk #welovetohike

A perfect day for some Africa training!
Crank up the volume and check this out! Make sure you watch and listen to the whole video - it is unbelievable! So, we're hiking the Grand Clifftop Walk in the Blue Mountains, minding our own business, when bam – there he is, the lyrebird maestro! This guy's scraping around, feathers all fancy in the sunlight. But get this – he's not just some pretty bird. Nope, he's a whole band rolled into one! From countless birds to funky beats, he's mimicking it all, and flawlessly too. We were seriously blown away, couldn't take our eyes (or ears) off him. It was like stumbling upon a wild concert in the middle of nowhere. What a moment!

We often talk about how traveling with WEA will create memories for a lifetime and this video right here embodies why we LOVE what we do. 💙
After five challenging days on the Larapinta trail, filled with hiking, camping, no showers, drop toilets, and even a lively mice plague, we were beyond excited at the idea of hot showers, cozy beds, and cold wine waiting for us back in Alice Springs.
Unfortunately, our bus had some other ideas and unexpectedly popped two tires on the return trip!
What could have been a disastrous turn of events transformed into an impromptu three-hour roadside dance party. Amidst the laughter, singing, and dancing, we turned what could have been a setback into one of the most cherished memories of the trip.
For us the bonds forged through shared experiences and the beauty of turning adversity into joy changes lives, and we are so grateful for the women who choose to embrace adventure with us. 🙌
What an epic weekend! Our inaugural Tomaree Coastal Walk weekend was an absolute blast from start to finish.
Saturday morning, before the sun even peeked over the horizon, we were already on the move, trekking in darkness to conquer Tomaree. And let us tell you, watching that sunrise from the summit with a coffee and delicious breakfast was pure magic!
Over the course of two exhilarating days, we covered 27 kilometers, facing everything Mother Nature could throw at us. From glorious sunshine to refreshing rain showers and finishing off with wind and sideways rain – talk about an adrenaline rush! And you know what? Every twist and turn just added to the joy of it all.
Back at our glamping site, we indulged in great food and wine, shared countless belly laughs, and enjoyed a swim in the ocean. Oh, and let's not forget our encounter with Kerry Poppins – a true highlight of the trip 😂!
We cozied up around the fire, sipping on Chandon and swapping stories late into the evening. We finished the long weekend with a personal tour of the Koala Sanctuary, connecting us even more deeply with the beauty of nature.
The best part of it all was the bonds we formed and the memories we created together. New friendships blossomed, and with each moment, we created memories that will last a lifetime.
Here's to many more adventures ahead – Tomaree, you've stolen our hearts! 🌅🏕️🌊
Snowy Mountains trip day 3! 🤩#snowiesalpinewalk
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
While we may not have had the luck of the Irish with the weather on our second day of kayaking and camping, we certainly had some authentic Irish weather! Despite the rain, we had an absolute blast, and we couldn't imagine sharing the experience with anyone other than our favorite Irish gal, Jenny.
Our Antarctic Journey Continued…
Mud room and Zodiacs.
When the ship's speakers announced our group name, 'The Right Whales,' excitement bubbled up within us. We gathered in the mud room, layered in gear, ready for what ever adventure lay ahead.
With boots strapped tight, gloves snug, beanies, sunnies and buffs on, we resembled a team of intrepid explorers. We shared a sense of camaraderie as we geared up together.
Following the crew's lead, we descended the ship's stairs, checked and cleaned our boots, tagged out of the Ocean Endeavour, and embarked onto the waiting Zodiacs. Excited for the thrills awaiting us on the icy waters.
On each Zodiac cruise, the Antarctic landscape unfolded before our eyes in all its majesty. Whales fed in the distance, seals basked lazily on ice floes, and penguins frolicked along the shoreline and in the water, their playful antics always bringing a smile to our faces.
Our Zodiac rides were more than just expeditions; they were a testament to the bond shared among us as women. Through wind, snow, and clear skies, we navigated the icy (sometimes calm and sometimes not so calm) waters with grace and determination, supporting each other every step of the way.
We never wanted our Zodiac adventures to end, but we knew that we had experienced something truly extraordinary together. From the exhilaration of exploration to the camaraderie forged in the mud room, every moment was etched into our memories as a testament to the power of friendship and adventure.
Thinking about these times we can't help but smile, knowing that these were truly the BEST DAYS EVER.
We hope this video shows just a little bit of what we experienced.
