Kakadu Cultural Tours have launched their Ubirr Combo wet season tour for 7 days only - starting Sunday 24th March and running to until Monday 1st of April 2024.
Pick ups in Jabiru from 8.30am and return around 2pmish.
COST: $180 per adult and $110 per child.
The itinerary;
• They collect from Jabiru accommodation at 8.30am drive through the flooded Magela Creek and head straight to Ubirr. After experiencing the Ubirr lookout and art sites, connect with a Guluyambi boat cruise on the East Alligator River. After the cruise you will be returned to Jabiru at around 2pmish.

We’re searching for a Manager - Culture, to work within the Kakadu National Park Joint Management team.

The role involves working with Traditional Owners from across Kakadu to sustain effective cultural programs and management, across a diverse range of activities that include, but are not limited to - on Country camps, oral history, rock art management, archaeology knowledge, historic site management. Upholding effective cultural heritage communication between Kakadu, stakeholders, scientists and Parks Australia. Ensuring that the views of all Traditional Owners are considered. Providing cultural advice on park operations and visitor services and support the intergenerational transfer of cultural knowledge and raise cultural awareness amongst non-indigenous staff. You will be responsible for managing projects, consultancies and budgets, and preparing correspondence and reports.
