VANUATU OPENS FOR TOURISTS

From 01 July, the Vanuatu Tourism Office advises that all international visitors will be welcome once again.
There will be some protocols in place, with all arrivals including children required to provide evidence of a negative RAT test to the Vanuatu Ministry of Health 24 hours prior to travel.

From 21 June 2022, you will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand.

Most travellers still need to meet vaccination requirements and take 2 rapid antigen tests (RATs) after they arrive in New Zealand.

Travellers whose first international flight to New Zealand departs after 11:59pm (NZT) Monday 20 June 2022 will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand. This applies to travellers entering New Zealand from anywhere in the world.

If you are transiting through New Zealand, you no longer need to meet vaccination requirements or complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration.

The Biden administration will drop the Covid-19 testing requirement for inbound air travelers from abroad on Sunday, ending one of the longest-running travel restrictions of the pandemic.

The rule, put in place by the Trump administration in early 2021 and later tightened by the Biden administration, most recently required inbound travelers, including U.S. citizens, to show proof of a negative Covid test a day before boarding U.S.-bound flights. Travelers entering the U.S. at land border crossings were exempt.

The change takes effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Apart from Italy, a total of 19 other EU/EEA countries have already dropped all of their restrictions. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland have removed all of their rules until now. All travellers are permitted restriction-free entry to these countries.

The Italian authorities revealed on Monday that the country will drop all of its entry rules on June 1. The news was announced by the Italian Ministry of Health. New Caledonia ditches pre-departure testing requirements

IT JUST BECAME EVEN EASIER TO HOLIDAY IN NEW CALEDONIA, AS IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED THAT THE COUNTRY IS REMOVING ITS PRE-DEPARTURE RAT-TEST REQUIREMENT FOR VACCINATED TRAVELLERS.

New Caledonia, Australia’s closest South Pacific neighbour, is fully open and ready to welcome fully jabbed Australian travellers back to its little corner of paradise. A rapid antigen test (RAT) 48 hours after arrival is still required, however, this can be done for free in pharmacies in New Caledonia.

And now, travellers arriving from green and orange countries, including Australia, are no longer required to take a pre-departure test before heading to New Caledonia.

JAKARTA: Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced on Tuesday (May 17) that the country will no longer require vaccinated travellers from overseas to present a negative COVID-19 test upon entering the country.
“Domestic and international travellers who are fully vaccinated no longer need to take PCR (polymerase chain reaction) or antigen swab tests,” he announced on the presidential palace’s YouTube channel.
The instructions will be elaborated in a number of regulations and will be effective on May 18," he said.
"We hope the policy will be implemented well. However, people are expected to remain vigilant and adapt to future changes."
The president said the Indonesian government is also loosening its policy for mask wearing.
