The Shnatties had a great day at a special needs school in Haifa, a project of WIZO Australia and Israel. They had fun playing soccer with the children, participating in the english classes, learning about the project of the school and more! Thank you WIZO for the opportunity!

Yesterday was Yom Hashoa. It is an opportunity for us all to reflect and mourn on our history as Jews.
Being in Israel at this time can be a powerful experience. In Israel, When it is time for the minute's silence to pay respect to those we have lost, a siren rings. Shnat participant Sharni Briner videoed this moment, and she said that the was an opportunity to remember:
"These numbers are too big to comprehend and I know that by hearing the stories and memories of those who survived we will never forget..."
