Mandikwe Game Reserve is located on the border with Botswana close to the unique landscape of the Kalahari Desert, and is one of the largest game reserves in South Africa.

Expect to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and African buffalo) in this region as well. The reserve is a popular family destination year-round, but we recommend going between May and September.

Ngala Private Game Reserve has spectacular diversity of wildlife, including breeding herds of elephant, leopard, spotted hyena, giraffe, large buffalo herds and white rhino.

With its name meaning lion in the local language Shangaan, Ngala lives up to its promise, supporting several large prides of these powerful cats
