All the way from Canada to fish the Great Barrier Reef and a 77cm & 91cm Large Mouth Nannygai pops up
Including many other species these guys sure had a great day in our amazing backyard!

Just a little update as promised

I reckon these 2 kids will sleep well tonight.
They’ve had an early start & a busy morning so far!

No sharks at our first Mark, certainly helps a lot!

Good work Max & Stevo for getting them onto the fish onboard Reefinity Adventures.

Nice trip to the Reef although weather wasn’t the best but fish were on the go!

Had some Awesome Guests all the way from Arizona celebrating Independence Day with us! And they were dressed for Success!

Late start due to an accident on Hwy that had our guests delayed but ended up a great day out on the Great Barrier Reef.

Plenty of fish for a good feed and had some nice sized Bull Sharks After their own lunch as well unfortunately.

Young Holly catching some juvenile Nanny’s close to shore near Double Island while the winds were up.

Holly ended up with multiply small Nanny’s, 2 Cod, A Trevally, A small Coral Trout and a few bloody sharks!

Too small for Dinner, so All released to fight another day.

Holly will be back out in June School Holidays trying again for Bigger and Better!

Amazing chefs at ”The Backyard” Cairns prepared and cooked todays catch for us!

Can’t get any fresher than that!

- Nannygai with pumpkin purée, Pomegranate, Quinoa and pickled Turmeric.

- Nannygai with salsa verde, pico de gallo with macadamia pesto.

- Gold Band Snapper crusted & battered, Beer Battered & Crumbed Wings.

Thank you to the Amazing Staff and exceptional Chefs for a delightful experience.
