HARVARD ESSAY WINNER
Congratulations to Year 12 student, Khuslen, who has just been announced as the winner of the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review Essay Competition. Khuslen’s essay “A Fair Black Box? The Illusion of Impartiality in Algorithmic Justice” was selected as the top essay in a very competeitive field of submissions from high school students from across the globe. We are very proud of your accompliment Khuslen!

Another appreciation post👌

Shout out to Mark Humby for his massive contribution to our club each week👏 Mark organises our referees for the whole season. Organising referees to go to 4 pools each week takes an enormous amount of time⏰

Shout out to Simone Macqueen for running our flippaball program👏 Every Friday, Simone rocks up to the pool, sets up the goals and organises lots of future seahorses👍 Simone also conducts the annual flippaball gala day👍

Mark and Simone were recognised for their efforts at our Presentation Night. Thank you very much👏

As we approach our NSW Grand Finals, we're highlighting the importance of respect in our sport. is the foundation of a positive water polo environment, where small actions create lasting impact.

Key principles to remember:

- Show respect to all players, officials, and spectators - in and out of the pool
- Accept referees' decisions with grace and dignity
- Support your teammates and opponents alike
- Maintain composure during intense moments
- Celebrate success humbly and handle setbacks with resilience

'Think' before they speak, 'Act' with respect, and 'Play' in the spirit of the game

Remember: Respect starts with YOU! Let's make these Grand Finals a showcase of sportsmanship and fair play.

Congratulations Bonnie👏

AWL Debutant!

Now we know we are late on the official post but she is finally getting the spot on our feed that she deserves!

New to Cap #20 after answering an emergency phone call a few weeks ago, Bonnie Stephenson may have missed the water up in the rush trying to get to Dawn Fraser Baths but she certainly seemed calm by the time she hit the water.
