PNG Experience was formed to create a unique and intimate travel experience for the modern traveller, seeking to immerse themselves within the culture, history, cuisine, landscapes and seascapes of one of the last untouched frontiers, Papua New Guinea. Our tour guides are all local, knowledgeable and passionate about the communities we travel in. They are dedicated to delivering an authentic, personal experience, with great insight into local history, culture, customs and mythology.

The Sepik River experience should undoubtedly be on the bucket list to tick off. Even having been born and raised in PNG, this is an amazing adventure experience in a land that is so rich in culture and beauty. Can't wait to get back up there shortly.

Cape Wom Memorial Peace Park, always worth the time to visit and pay respects to those that served in WW2.
September 13, 1945 saw the official Japanese surrender in PNG at Cape Wom, eleven days after the "official" Japanese surrender on September 2 in Japan to US forces. The fight raged on in PNG's north-west corner for three months after the surrender.
