And another love affair began as we travelled back to my mother's village, Pietrabbondante in Molise. We were welcomed by the locals so warmly and the Mayor invited us to the Council chambers , the "comune". There, we were able to access the Council records and compile our family tree. What an emotional time it was to discover where my mamma and her family were born and lived. Walking along the narrow age old streets in the company of the ringing church bells felt like being lost in another time. With a full heart and a tear in my eyes we said goodbye to newly found relatives and friends. We know we will be back, ❤️

From my home in Umbria, Buona Pasqua. So beautiful to be home here in Umbria amongst family and friends. Admiring nature’s beauty strolling in the country side as I did as a child in the sounds of silence. Peace to all ❤️
