My Little Eden Uniquely designed artwork, clothes, cards and gifts by artist & designer Sarah Trett Hi I'm Sarah Trett, welcome to ‘my little eden’.

Created to showcase my art and design work. After a decision to move to rural Australia it became clear that part-time work choices in this part of Australia for me were very limited and I wanted to spend more time with my son and daughter. However I still had a passion to illustrate and design. I needed to maintain my design skills despite being a full-time at home mum. So was born ‘my little ede

n’ a place for me to share my work and continue my artistic adventures. I produce work inspired by my children, nature and the world around me. This is then posted for sale on POD (Print On Demand) websites. I’m currently using Zazzle and Redbubble to promote my work. I love feeling productive and enjoy the great online artistic communities. Got some afternoon wildflower drawing in whilst I waited for my daughter to come back from her birthday horse ride 🐴 on her beautiful horse Footloose. My daughter’s first time on a horse and she came back beaming 😁 thanks to my dear parents for gifting her this experience and to Susan River Homestead for looking after my daughter so well and to get her riding a horse finally. She enjoyed every minute with her horse bestie who joined her. I didn’t ride but instead relaxed in the beautiful homestead grounds with the wildflowers and horses 🐎 even if they ran away when I tried to draw ✍️ them 😂 🐴❤️

Drawing and painting en plein air, nothing beats it normally, got up super early but because of the extreme heat had to abandon this one as so hot 🥵 and humid today! Plus of course still the in the joys of school holidays oh well. Still very much a blessing to have this stunning frangipani in bloom at the moment in my garden and was the perfect way to start my day whilst I wasn’t sweating into a drip that is!

The rain finally stopped long enough to grab this pretty orange cosmos flower also known as Mexican Marigold to paint, the stars aligned nicely as my daughter decided she was going to join me in a little watercolor painting of her aqua bunny too. So even though I am off work for awhile both Amy who sowed the seed to paint a flower thanks 🤩 and Kellie who gifted my daughter the bunny she was painting both got me over the line today and back to having a brush in my hand! Working on a new artwork for an Evening under the stars ✨ invitation and stationery. It has been way too long since I used some acrylic paint 🎨 was so glad to find my old Liquitex still had a nice fluidity to them just the same as they did 20 or so years ago when I brought them amazing! 😃 🌙 ✨
