Palas de Rae to Melide Great day still hard work but I broke a 30km walk down so we could do this at a relaxed pace. Some that were trying to get to Azure realised it was too hard and had to cancel and change accommodation. It pays to plan ahead and know what you can do.
12 weeks ago I broke my back with no idea if this was even possible. No training no nothing. But I was prepared to say it's too much.
Here I am half way in and travelling pretty well. I am super proud so far

Yesterday was a huge day. Met my cousin Carolyn at Lisbon airport and then we had a private driver take us all the way to Sarria in Spain. 6hrs.
When we say travel is an adventure it sure is a lovely Mercedes no GPS so hand held his phone and got lost, I had my maps operating and at times we all had our foot on the accelerater when you can drive at 120km and at times he would get down to 80km. He was somewhat erratic. Before we left Lisbon his boot latch broke and Stuart donated his shoelace to hold the boot closed.
So all in all an interesting day. Arrived at Sarria at 9.45pm.
The restaurant stayed open to feed us and then bed. The hotel has been very accommodating.
Thank goodness we have a day off tomorrow.

HOLIDAY TIME
Finally heading off.

Sorry I have been absent from FB but I have been supremely busy with 50+ clients all leaving between now and the first week of June.
I am excited to be visiting Lisbon, Hiking Camino Sarria to Santiago and then off to see family and take mum and dads ashes home.
An emotional roller coaster.

We check in at 2am at the airport so early to bed at the hotel Park Royal.
Hotel is always comfortable and nice.
Follow my journey and offer us encouragement along the way.
