In an active and comfortable environment that is carefully adapted to each child, I will take your little ones on fun weekly ‘trips’ to my home country. With games, songs, stories, theatre, craft activities and total immersion in French culture, your child will be fully engaged and won’t even notice that it’s all in French! Each school term, classes are made up of five to eight children to ensure
that I can focus on each child’s needs and tailor the weekly 45-minute sessions accordingly. The sessions are made up of singing, dancing, puppetry, drawing, acting, craft activities and games with vocabulary. I also teach children about French festivities, seasons, food and traditions. Through my own experience as a mother, I strongly believe that while playing is the most important aspect of absorbing another language naturally, repetition and structure will also help your child to learn easily and fast. My teaching method revolves around creative activities tailored to the children’s age group. All children are given a workbook, which will be filled with your children’s progress, including drawings, songs, words, images and activities. At the end of each term, parents will see the fruit of the term’s work through the children’s 15-minute presentation.
