~ It's your dream holiday, I can make it happen ~

ABOUT ME

After travelling to Japan as an exchange student for a year at the age of 16 I caught the travel bug early! The love of different cultures is one of the many reasons I decided to explore a career in travel. It all started in 1998 where I was working for a retail travel agency in Port Macquarie learning domestic and south pacific travel

whilst studying in Travel. After I completed my studies, I moved to Brisbane and continued my career working in both the retail & wholesale travel sectors which has given me an extensive insight and understanding of the whole travel experience. I have been working as a Mobile Travel Consultant for the past 5 years and decided to join TravelManagers in 2014 to further opportunities for both myself and my clients. Travel is a big passion of mine, I love meeting new people, sharing their amazing stories about travel and experiencing the many different cultures this wonderful world has to offer. WHY CHOOSE A PERSONAL TRAVEL MANAGER ?

- Personalised Service, customising your itinerary to suit your needs

- Flexible service, via phone, email or a visit at your convenience. I can come to you - home, office or your favourite coffee shop

- If you have a busy schedule we can discuss your travel plans after work when you're in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

- Wealth of travel management experience and knowledge

- It's my near-obsessive attention to detail that ensures a seamless holiday that you remember for all the right reasons.

- I don’t give preference to any companies or airlines, I simply listen to my clients’ needs, work with you on the best options and make recommendations based on my knowledge and current specials and offers.

- My hours are not the standard 9am to 5pm, I am available early morning to late evening and weekends. I also provide a 24 hour emergency service to clients whilst they are travelling.

- Our relationship doesn't end once I hand over the tickets, I often hear from my clients whilst they're away and share in their excitement, and if the need arises, I'm only a phone call away if you require urgent help. AREA's OF SPECIALITY

Heading overseas soon? ✈️ This is your friendly reminder to check your passport's expiry date. Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months from the end of your planned stay (otherwise, you may be refused entry).

The cost of obtaining an Australian passport is increasing by 15% on 1st July so if your passport is due for renewal soon, now is a good time to kick off the process.

✈️ Client's recap from their recent trip to South America 🏞️.

I initially planned to shorten it, but as I read through, I was captivated by their experiences and decided to share everything. If this doesn't inspire you to travel to South America, I don't know what will. Enjoy the photos 📸

"Not knowing much at all about visiting South America we were reliant on the awesome services of Amanda Brady and her South American experts, who designed and coordinated an incredibly immersive 6 week experience. We have travelled quite a bit, but by far, this trip, across multiple countries and a huge continent, was so well organised we didn't have any other stress than to get up most mornings and head out with our fantastic guides! We opted to tour privately so no waiting on others to join a bus load of people!

Travelling to Lima, the capital of Peru, we toured the eclectic Barranco and historic city and took the stunning night coastal views, before heading to Cuzco, Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo and Machu Pichu, where we were in awe of the ancient agricultural terraces of Moray and salt mining in Maras, a fabulous train journey, thru the Andes, to the incredible Inca ruins was a definite highlight.
I couldn't help but buy a handmade Alpaca jumper from Chinchero where traditional Andean spinning and weaving have continued today.

From Santiago we had a long-awaited reconnection with our UK friends whom we met 6 years ago on a Viking cruise thru Vietnam and Cambodia. After some celebrations we sailed on our cruise down the Chilean coast, into Patagonia, including Ushuaia, (the gateway to the Antarctic), and admired the stunning Cape Horn on a very calm sea day!! Our beautiful sailing weather didn't last, and a storm caused us to miss our Puerto Madryn and Punta Del Este stops, but this meant a 2 day stay in the Capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. Wandering thru cobblestoned streets admiring the old town we really enjoyed the spectacle and taste of the local BBQ meats which had been cooking over coals all day!
Onto Buenos Aires we were ideally accommodated right in the middle of street music and tango performers, main tourist attractions, markets, fantastic food options, and the colourful La Boca region. We could certainly have spent more time here.

After flying to Salta in north west Argentina, we travelled across and thru the Andes for 5 days to Cafayate, Cachi, and Purmamarca, all these Andean towns, and the landscapes were very different, offering organic wineries, art and craft, huge mountain elevations, extraordinary views across the ranges, alpacas and Vicunas, colourful mountain formations, and Salinas Grandes, a massive salt desert, where we had some photo fun!

Flying to Argentina's Iguazu town, where Peru, Paraguay and Argentina meet at a river confluence, we walked the Iguazu UNESCO world heritage park, exploring both the upper and lower Argentinian falls tracks, the mist from the huge 275 waterfalls engulfed us in places, and we were distracted by local butterflies, animals and birds, we topped off our day by getting drenched on a speedboat trip into the San Martin and 3 Musketeer falls! Just fantastic.
To complete the falls experience we crossed the border into Brazil, walked thru the National park trails before jumping aboard a helicopter for unforgettable aerial views of the cascades and gorges.

We finished this incredible trip in Rio De Janerio where a sunset visit to Sugar Loaf mountain offered unique views across the city.

We felt safe at all times, our guides all spoke great English, all hotels were a high standard, our experience encompassed remote, country and city cultures so we really got a good feel for South America. Our best experience was definitely Iguazu, jumping in a boat and helicopter was 'pinch us' stuff!!

Thanks for all your expertise to enable us to live out this life changing trip
regards, Leanne and Fred"
