Internet gremlins are at it. Plans for lots of work to be done this morning but I’m looking at lots of spinning circles as my screen times out. I’ll get there fast as I can to those of you waiting on work. Lucky I did all my work with payment/ticket deadlines yesterday!
Better get my hard hat on and start trying to fix it!! Wish me luck. You’d have better luck getting on an international flight from Newcastle Airport in a few months time than seeing me solve computer issues 🤣🤣

Disney Cruise Line had the pleasure of welcoming 120 CLIA Cruise Masters and their Guests onboard Disney Wonder for an exclusive CLIA Famil in January. This trip provided Cruise Masters the opportunity to experience the magic of Disney Cruise Line for themselves, and included special moments like a meet and greet with Goofy, a conversation with the Cruise Director and Hotel Director, and an interesting session on growing sales. Did you know - Disney Cruise Line is owned by Disney? I had heaps of people ask if my recent Disney Wonder cruise was a theme cruise operated by cruise line X Y or Z! No No No!!!! The Disney Cruise Line is unique - it offers its own unique dining styles, all with live entertainment, facilities for little children on board that almost no one else has, and crucially, Disney entertainment. Disney production shows and/or theme parties every night, and Disney movies running in the cinema and also showing on the outdoor screen basically non stop - for free! Think of what a family trip to the movies would cost you - then think that you could (if you wanted) watch 2 or 3 Disney movies a day for your whole cruise and work out the value! And did I mention Fireworks at Sea? Another unique and magical experience that I will never forget.

This was the most amazing few days. We had a blast with so many unique experiences on Disney Cruise Line that you just cannot match anywhere else.

FAREWELL SAILING - there are literally only one or two cabins left on P&O Cruises Australia Pacific Explorer for her last sailing before being retired from the fleet as Carnival Cruise Line operate sailings after February next year. If you want to be on this farewell cruise we need to book you NOW - not many cabins to choose from as the ship is almost full, so call me today if you want to say farewell to this lovely lady. Fremantle to Singapore (one way) over 11 nights. Lots of sea days so super relaxing, with visits to Lombok and Langkawi along the way. Time from some shopping and sightseeing in Singapore and then a flight home when you are ready

This is a suite but it gives ideas of what an accessible cabin features. Roll in room entry, roll in shower and ramp either side of the balcony door for rolling access. The wardrobe has a lever to lower the hanging rail. The bathroom vanity lets you roll under the bench. The bed is lower so your cases won’t fit under it however getting in and out is easier. The rooms in all categories are spacious to allow your mobility devices the space you need to move you around the room. If you need a shower chair or any extra bits and bobs to make your cruise comfortable…. Just ask. No form filling processes…. Just ask for it.

Moving through the cabins to a 1 bedroom concierge suite. Bigger and more lovely, this is the category to get a walk in shower (or not over the bath) and ideal for travelling with a family. Sleeps 5. Main bed, double sofa and a pull down bed from the cupboard in the bedroom.

Disney Wonder stateroom tour continues. Different decor and nicer amenities in the concierge rooms - lounge access and sun deck, priority show seating, priority boarding, dedicated concierge service team, exclusive Triton lunch on embarkation day. Also interconnect this type of room to a 1 bedroom suite and you’ll sleep a group of 10! Watch for the suite pics next!!

For those playing along this is a Deluxe Family Verandah room that sleeps 5. Note the dual bathroom setup and how many drawers and cupboards you have. The main bed does not split to twin but is high so you can fit all your cases under. Note daytime and night time set up. This is such a family centric ship that there are 80% of these cabins are interconnecting. Remember all power sockets are US but there is one adapter provided for you to use. You would need to also bring your own for a few people sharing….

Bye Bye Hobart. You were fun. It’s a tough gig as lifeguard when I bet most kids are sleeping after their late night pirate party 🎉 The pool deck is quiet…. It’s cold and windy, but when it’s your job….. Safety first.
