What’s one place you’ve always wanted to have a European Summer?

I’ve always had the Grand Prix in Monaco followed by, beach hopping, and shopping in the South of France] on my bucket list.

OR

Island hopping through parts of Greece I hae not explored yet. First I’d start in Athens for some city exploration, a food tour, and shopping. Then I’d hop over to Naxos, Paros and Crete for immersive exploration, yachting, and eating as much delicious Mediterranean food as I can get my hands on.

What would be your perfect European summer?

You forget your headphones, left the book you planned to pack on the coffee table, and are sitting at your resort paranoid about leaving something on when it should be off.

There’s nothing worse, in my opinion!

Here’s my day before travel checklist that I’ve perfected to make sure I don’t forget anything:

Start prepping a week before: I start setting things aside for my trip, but I hold off on packing until a day or two before, so I remember what’s in my suitcase.

Do a round of editing: Right before I pack, I edit to make sure I’m packing what I’ll actually need. I also check the weather forecast where I’m headed to make sure I’m prepared.

Carry-on check: I double- and triple-check my carry-on for my documents, my AirPods, phone chargers and something I learned from an uncle of mine ALWAYS pack another set of clothes in your carry on.

Travel admin: I call my credit card company, download airline apps, make sure I have a copy of my boarding pass, etc.

I just had one of the wildest conversations with a new client.

She’s been planning trips all on her own for years and was always under the impression that if he/she booked her trips with a travel agent, it would automatically be more expensive.

And sometimes I’m so caught up in my travel planning bubble working with my clients that I forget not everyone knows what a travel advisor can do for them.

Things like…

Save you time by doing the planning and coordinating for you because the time you’ll spend DIYing it all is worth something.

And honestly so much more.

But the real thing I want to address here is the fact that my client felt nervous to reach out because he/she didn’t know if she could afford to work with me.

And I want you all to know that there is absolutely no pressure when reaching out to inquire about a trip — if I can help and work within your budget, then great. If not, that’s okay too!
