What's On is a full-colour, glossy, monthly magazine dedicated specifically to the residents and businesses of the Atherton Tablelands. 8000 copies are printed and distributed to many locations for free at the start of every month. Our publication showcases what this beautiful region has to offer ranging from events, must-see attractions, local businesses features, as well as an insight into the p

eople who live in the community. Contributions are welcome from individuals, community groups, charities, sporting associations, schools and businesses. What's On Magazine takes pride in the relationships it has with locals, striving to give readers information that matters to the Tablelands community. We endeavour to support our local businesses in every way we can.

Do you love reading the Tales of the Tablelands section of What's On? Do you have a passion for storytelling? We are looking for one or more skilled interviewers to contribute to this section from early 2025. You will need to visit interviewees, write a quality summary within our requirements including strict wordcount and style, obtain a photo, liase with the interviewee to check the final version, liase with editorial staff, and, importantly, meet deadlines! This column can be time consuming due to needing to arrange meetings and wait for final approval to print from the interviewee. Support is available from our current columnist, Kasey, and she encourages other young writers to apply! It may be possible that we engage more than one writer for these articles. Contact [email protected] for further information about this opportunity - include your contact details, experience and/or interest, and tell us about your involvement with the Tablelands community.
