You may notice changes to our communications during the 2024 Local Government Election Period 📢

From noon Tuesday 17 September to 6pm Saturday 26 October, limits are in place on Council publications and activities to ensure actions do not influence voting in the election.

This is a requirement of the Local Government Act 2020, with more details set out in Council's Election Period Policy.

You’ll notice reduced activity and increased moderation on any social media posts, including post comments. All published content will be certified accordingly, in compliance with the Act.
