We appreciate you following along on the socials m, and/or visiting our home on the sand dune. It all helps us continue to keep it and share it with people who appreciate its uniqueness and relaxed vibe!

So grateful for our returnees - and I’ve lost count how many times Ali and Co have come back to the Dune!

This time they brought their beautiful ‘Buddy’ for some beach action and I’ve totally fallen in love with him! Check out that stunning sunsets photo too…

“Arvo no 1” was perfection for us, with the suggestion of a possible storm but ended up being sunshiney and delicious (though a. Storm would have been beautiful too!) and full of dogs (which was fun for me as I’d left mine at home so was chasing pats!) …check out little puffed out pug 🤣🥰

Had a favourite young friend (with her fellow school leaver pals) stay with us recently - and no that’s not her in the first pic - it’s me and her mum when WE finished school!! 😂🩵🩷

So it seemed extra special that she might stay at our Dune Hideaway for her celebration time.

Love the pics Tovie as well as all those crocs squashed into the hammocks. Congratulations on your finishing school x

Lazy Summer days and nights in January...😍 Turns out we have a fresh week available thanks to an unavoidable cancellation from one of our nearest and dearest regulars!

If you're keen to know the dates please message us on 0420 281 929. January is usually 'tightly held' as they say, by some of our return guests so if you're keen to dive in.. then please do!

Note 7 night minimum in the Dec/Jan holidays but it's actually an 8 night window.... we would accept 7 though. But you might be keen for the lot! ☀️🌅🏖🐹🐟🍟🍕🍷🍺

It’s not all rosè on the beach for the holiday home owner … 🤣 though that’s what’s planned for this evening to recover!

Hoping our new arrivals have power through the night ⛈️🤞🏼☔️.. but even if not, at least they’ll be warm! 🔥 First words when they arrived were “It’s gorgeous!” and they’re now set for a weekend of relaxing with wine and chocolate and lots of chats in front of the fire… as well as some exploring in the region. So happy to share our place with people ready to embrace it! Book a getaway for yourself and your friends or family soon!

“Tight as a clenched jaw on an oyster” ….The new saying I learnt on this morning’s walk as I strolled alongside a ‘local’ and she chatted about her grandson 🤣 “You’re not a townie, are ya?” She asked after describing how she rarely gets a chat from a visitor, and I replied I’ve kind of got a foot in both camps. “And I pay local rates” I defended. 🤣 Given her first 68 years were spent in England I could have perhaps argued her definition of ‘local’ but I was still giggling at the Oyster reference 😁 Dog supremely happy once again - a perfect Autumn morning!

Just seconds after arrival we’ve spotted wildlife in the sand dune backyard…. 🥰🐾🥎🌿

When your son drops into Silver Sands only to find out our house is booked out for the weekend… 😂 Thanks Coastal Skydive for looking after our boy! And the mates who chipped in for the awesome present! 🎥 CG 🙂
