Coach Driver Position Available.
Bundaberg Coaches are seeking casual coach driver's for a 2 week on, 1 week off roster located in the Bowen Basin. Need to be reliable, with a high standard of safety, excellent customer service, and are ready to join the team immediately.
To be considered for the position you MUST have:
HR license or greater
Drivers Authorisation
Clean driving record
Be able to pass regular drug & alcohol testing
To be successful in this role you must:
Have all of the above credentials
Have outstanding safety focus
Be well presented and have great communication skills
Be able to follow fatigue management
Excellent customer service
Ability to learn new skills, apply training and follow direction
Willing to work as part of a team and autonomously to get tasks completed on time and safely.

Position Summary:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of the bus fleet. The Fleet Manager will collaborate with various departments, and implement best practices to optimise fleet performance and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the bus fleet.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with safety and operational standards.
2. Maintenance Scheduling:
• Maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure vehicle reliability.

5. Driver Management:
• Monitor driver performance ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Address any behavioural or compliance issues.
6. Inventory Management:
• Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of necessary items for vehicle upkeep.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
• Utilise fleet management and tracking software to analyse performance metrics and identify trends.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and costs for management review.

Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
