To support our growth and maintain our high standards, we are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations.

Position Summary:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of the bus fleet. This role involves ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, and operated efficiently. The Fleet Manager will collaborate with various departments, and implement best practices to optimise fleet performance and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the bus fleet.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with safety and operational standards.
2. Maintenance Scheduling:
• Maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Coordinate repairs and routine service activities, minimising vehicle downtime.
3. Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Manage the fleet budget, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and controlled.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings in fuel consumption, maintenance, and repairs.
4. Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with Australian transport laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold safety standards.
5. Driver Management:
• Monitor driver performance ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Address any behavioural or compliance issues.
6. Inventory Management:
• Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of necessary items for vehicle upkeep.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
• Utilise fleet management and tracking software to analyse performance metrics and identify trends.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and costs for management review.

Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to analyse and improve operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight:
• Manage the daily operations of the bus services, ensuring schedules are adhered to and services run efficiently.
2. Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise operational staff, including drivers and support personnel.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence among staff.
3. Staff and Vehicle Scheduling:

7. Performance Monitoring:

8. Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Work closely with the Fleet Manager, maintenance, and administration teams to coordinate operations and resolve issues.
9. Crisis Management:
• Maintain and review contingency plans for unexpected events, such as vehicle breakdowns or delays.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management within the transportation industry, preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of Australian transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyse data and implement process improvements.
• Proficient in operational management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Casual Bus Cleaner Required

Job Summary:
We are looking for a fit and reliable individual to join our team as a Casual Bus Cleaner. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our fleet of coaches. This is a casual position, which may involve working irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize coaches, including interior and exterior surfaces
* Remove trash and recyclables from coaches
* Restock toilet facilities and replenish supplies
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning windshields and mirrors
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
* Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals

Requirements:
* Physical fitness to lift, bend, and move equipment (up to 25 kg)
* Ability to use high pressure, pressure washer
* Ability to work odd hours, including weekends and public holidays
* Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
* High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
