Welcome to Harmans Lodge, a unique and secluded homestead set on 30 hectare (75 acres) of farmland and natural bush in Metricup. As this is the only home on the property you are ensured privacy, peace and tranquility.
Harmans Lodge is situated on Harmans Mill Road which is also home to the famous Margaret River Chocolate factory, Margaret River Nut & Cereal Factory which boasts the beautiful Fishbone Restaurant and Providore, a food and wine lovers paradise. On the same road you will also find Harmans Estate Winery and Hay Shed Hill Winery incorporating the famous Rustico Restaurant, known for its superb degustation menu. Margaret River Cheese Factory and numerous boutique breweries and wineries are also part of our neighbourhood.
The charming town of Cowaramup, known as Cow Town and famous for its cow themed attractions is 5km drive from the Lodge. Our recently refurbished homestead is ideally placed for a break in the beautiful South West of WA, an easy half hour drive to Margaret River, Dunsborough or Busselton.
Accommodation comprises of 2 king bedrooms and a double bedroom with bunk. The Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom with sliding doors onto the verandah. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a bathroom. There is a third toilet. If you want to get back to nature there is a unique outdoor shower with a rather unusual shower head. Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen or throw a steak on the barbeque for a relaxed outdoor meal on the large outdoor verandah. Every room has full length windows to make the most of the unobstructed views over pasture land and the property’s own creek. Expect to see grazing alpacas, sheep and lambs, some of which are very friendly, kangaroos and a variety of beautiful birds. There is a wrap around veranda with plenty of quiet spots for some solitude or gather with friends on the huge deck and soak up the tranquillity with a glass of local wine.
