Let us take you on a journey to one of the top destinations to visit in the World.
Hunter Valley Wine Country. 🥂 The old Wine Region in Australia. There are now over 150 cellar doors in the Hunter Region, including some world famous producers and many small boutique wineries. The region is also developing its name as a gourmet paradise with many Cafes and fine dining restaurants to be found throughout the valley. A number of the wineries themselves have award winning restaurants offering delicious food and fine dining for a complete gourmet experience. Other attractions such as the the Hunter Valley Gardens and various other activities make the Hunter valley a must visit destination.

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of hosting these lovely ladies from
exploring the Hunter Valley Wineries.
Our itinerary today we visited:
John Wallace Wines
Lisa McGuigan Wines
Twine Restaurant
Small Mouth Vodka
Then to end the day we visited the Fat Cow Cheese and undertook some cheese Wine, Chocolate pairing. Thanks to dad ( John.) for transporting and hosting this awesome group.

What a achievement these dedicated nurses celebrating 50 years of nursing.
Working alongside side each other since the early 70s. It was a day of catchup, laughter and Wine Tasting exploring the Hunter Valley. Congratulations ladies 🍷

A successful tour exploring the vineyards
Our first stop John Wallace Wines. A stunning boutique Winery with premuim Wines. The name John Wallace may not sound familiar to those in the winemaking industry. However, the man behind the name has been helping to produce some of the Hunter Valley’s best wines for the past 15 years; Scarborough Wines, Thomas Wines, Hunter’s Dream Estate, and Bimbadgen Estate, to name a few.
Our second stop Pokolbin Estate Vineyard
internationally recognised Boutique Wines are meticulously crafted and balanced. These wines are exclusively handpicked and crafted from the grapes grown on their Hunter Valley Vineyards.
Our lunch venue was at Twine Restaurant
Our last stop of the day we visited Lisa McGuigan Wines Vamp for a private tasting in the exclusive private room.

One of my favourite pastimes as a tour operator is bringing along summer our beloved mascot cavoodle on tour.
There is so many pet friendly wineries that luv hosting your dogs, with the freedom of frolicking throughout the open land it's always a pleasure watching the animals have a great time.!!

Joey celebrated her birthday in the scenic Hunter Valley with her best friends she has known since primary school. Joey enjoyed her lunch restaurant followed by a cheese and chocolate tasting . We captured joey on the bike in the moment outside the restaurant looking fabulous.!!

These Lovely ladies from France decided to explore the Hunter Valley Wineries.
It was a full day tour and the following was our itinerary:
10am: Audrey Wilkinson cellar Door
11:30am: Small Mouth Vodka Distilery and a tour around Hunter valley village.
12:30pm: Baume Italian Restaurant.
2pm: John Wallace Wines
3:15pm: Cheese and chocolate tasting
Fat cow cheese shop.
4pm: Vamp Cellar Door
5pm: Make our way back home.

Vintage 2023 is getting underway around the Hunter Valley. Most wineries have started to bring in their Chardonnay and Verdelho crops with Semillon and the alternative varieties to follow. There's no rule saying white grapes have to be picked before reds and the prediction is that a lot of low yielding Shiraz vineyards and early ripening varieties such as Tempranillo will come in before some of the Semillon vineyards. While food and wine are the Hunter's most championed drawcards, the region also boasts distilleries, breweries, health retreats, family attractions and activities from horse-riding and hot air ballooning to bushwalking and golf. Skippy tours can provide transport to your destination in the Hunter valley, we also pickup from Newcastle and Sydney Airport
