Hervey Bay, Agnes Water and 1770 were the destinations for our happy hirers and their dog 'Ritchie' today. How cool is this - one month spent on the beautiful beaches up that way - all dog friendly as well.

What's not to love! Sunshine, great cafe on site, walks along the beach, fur baby, and happy hour! Count me in!

Q. When is a caravan, not a caravan?
A. When it's to be used by our hirers as a home on wheels for their kiwi family who arrived via the travel bubble yesterday.

It has everything all set up and ready to enjoy, including heating on those really chilly nights.

Our happy hirers headed off today to Coolum Beach Holiday Park for several days in the sun.

This friendly little beachside caravan park is a must-do if you love everything within one location - beach, shops and restaurants. It also has a designated dog area so that you can take your best mate with you as well!

We highly recommend this caravan park (having been there several times ourselves).

Brooms Head NSW was the destination for our travellers today - 300 km from Brisbane, on the Clarence River.

What a great spot! Brooms Head Caravan Park has riverfront spaces for caravans. You can park yourself there and do nothing at all ... or enjoy all that the local surrounds have to offer.

About Us

Hi, we are Deb and Ross. Welcome to our page. We’ve been caravan owners for over three years now and we love it! We love the idea of being able to explore the great outdoors, attend music festivals etc. with our very own home-away-from-home in tow. We’ve been to lots of different places over the past three years including a month-long trip from Brisbane to Cairns which we loved. Some of our favourite places to take the van are to Yamba, NSW - Tallebudgera Creek, Gold Coast - Cotton Tree Caravan Park, Sunshine Coast - Calliope River, Gladstone - to name just a few. We’ve decided to go down the hiring path so that others can use it too, and so it doesn’t just sit unused in the carport. I think it likes to get out as much as we do! It’s a great van to tow and has all the comforts you would need for a getaway anywhere in the great outdoors. I wonder where we’ll be headed next?
