This is a wonderful time of year to enjoy the serenity and wonder of The Coorong. Made even better by the abundant bird life. With the huge bonus of the 2022 floodwaters, this internationally recognized wetland is back to prime condition.

Last week I was thrilled to see a huge mob of pelicans teaching their fledglings how to do that amazing glide over water thing.

Always beautiful, The Coorong has never looked better. The influx of water from the Murray has brought new life to this natural wonderland, with the annual water bird survey having just recorded a wonderful increase in populations of native and migratory birds.
