Formerly Kangaroo Island Connect; we are now offering a stunning rental house with 4 large bedrooms and spectacular views at American River on Kangaroo Island. We hope you have a wonderful stay in our beautiful house and enjoy all that Kangaroo Island has to offer!

*Find our house at 36 Bayview Rd, American River on Google Maps before you leave Penneshaw as mobile reception is poor between there

& American River. Drive on the bitumen road all the way to American River rather than taking the dirt roads which would increase your risk of hitting wallabies and kangaroos at dawn & dusk. Our House
*All rooms are recently renovated - we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Bedrooms:
#1 King bed with sea views
#2 King bed or two singles with sea view
#3 Queen bed with bush view
#4 Two king singles with bush view
Two new Bathrooms
Laundry with washing machine and dryer
Kitchen - fully equipped with microwave, induction stove, oven, large double fridge, dishwasher, cutlery & crockery etc
Dining area seats 8 people. Sitting room has a smart TV, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating and opens onto outdoor entertaining area. Outdoor entertaining area has dining table with seating for 8, a bar bench and a barbecue bench & cupboard. Dimmable lighting.
*There are two child's swings hanging from one of the trees.
* There is also a table tennis table available in the outdoor entertaining area. Local Services
*American River General Store and Post Office; basic groceries, ice, bait, hot coffee and pies, bags of firewood.
*The Deck Café for great coffees, breakfast & lunch
*The Oyster Farm Shop for seafood supplies and lunches
*American River restaurants for dinner include:
- Reflections at the Mercure Hotel
- The Glossy Black Restaurant
- Wanderers Rest
*The local Art Gallery is one of the best on Kangaroo Island and worth a visit – situated on the Esplanade. Children's Playground

*Fuel is not available in American River. Nearest fuel stations are in Penneshaw 39kms and Kingscote 41kms. House Rules/Info:
