Just back from the most tranquil and peaceful escape! 🌿✨ We stayed in the coziest little cottage, Apple Tree Apollo Bay, surrounded by breathtaking views and our very own private lake. Mornings were spent sipping coffee on the porch, listening to birdsong, and evenings were all about watching the sunset reflect on the water. Pure bliss. 💛

Let’s have a chat…

💔 We’ve been getting an overwhelming amount of messages about the beautiful Babybel—asking when she’s available for adoption, if she can be fostered, etc. It’s heartwarming to see how many of you are eager to offer this sweet girl a forever home. However, while Babybel is lucky enough to have a dedicated foster carer, the reality is much more complex for the other dogs in our care.

We’ve been putting out calls for fosters for dogs that aren’t purebred Golden Retrievers, and… well, the response has been crickets. 😞

We understand—it’s a tricky time of year with holidays and busy schedules. But it’s also clear that people are more than willing to foster, but only if it’s a specific breed of their choosing. If we had 10 Babybels, we could adopt them out tomorrow. But sadly, the mixed-breeds and the less “popular” dogs often sit in care for months on end, overlooked.

We get it—Babybel is gorgeous, lovable, and so deserving of her happily ever after. But so are all the other dogs waiting for their chance, many of them in pounds, running out of time. They need you too. ❤️
