When it rains on 🌴🌈

Rainy days are great for exploring easy walking tracks such as Steven's Reserve, Valley of the Shadow and Little Island. For a view of the rainbows when it clears up, hike to the Lookout platform at Transit Hill or walk up the paddock towards Malabar Hill! 👀

The jetty on 🏝️⚓🏝️

For over 100 years the jetty has been the centre of communication for the island. Back in the days, cargo would come ashore, the first tourist passengers to the island would arrive by ship, and later the flying boat terminal was at the jetty.

Today, the bulk of the Island freight arrives at the jetty, which is also the meeting spot for sightseeing tours and fishing trips 🛥️
