I can’t believe it is that time of the year again, harvest is upon us, which means I am back on the farm workforce! 💪🏻 🐑

This year instead of just winging it, like I have the last few 😬, I have decided to officially reduce my hours during this time.

Starting the first week of November until further notice, I will be available Mondays 9am - 3pm, Tuesdays 8.30am - 3pm and Thursdays 8.30 am - 2.00pm. If these days don’t suit you and you are having travel withdrawals 😂 I will be available by appointment only,when available, please 0428152880 or email [email protected] to book.

Please also remember that after hours phone calls are for emergencies only, and please only text during reasonable hours (no later than 8.00pm) 😴. I will be sure to respond to you on my next business day, unless you are currently travelling, then I am still available 24/7!

Last Friday marked my 10 year anniversary at MTA Travel! I have taken this week to reflect on that time.

I started with MTA Travel when Taj had just turned 1 a few weeks earlier. Those early days were different than now, they consisted of juggling between naps, booking trips at night, crying babies on the phone calls but I was happy because I was back doing what I loved!

Then along came Paige and at 6 weeks old I went back to work. That upped the craziness. Patiently my clients waited and held as I handled a toddler and baby! Night work continued, booking trips between naps, interruptions from the kids on phone calls sometimes just to say hello to who ever I was talking too, the love of travel still pushing me to continue.

The next few years flew by and my client base grew. I was so lucky to get to go to South America, Europe, Queensland, New Zealand and many conferences in Perth during that time.

Then just as Paige started school full time, COVID hit, and because of the amazing business model MTA has, I was able to work at refunding, retrieving (people from overseas) and educating my client with online support evening and then I just wait till the world started spinning again.

Then the world started spinning and it has been busy, busier than ever. Things have changed, Taj and Paige are older now, my time is spent being a farmers wife/ assistant and taxi and mother and finally I am back also being a travel advisor.

I am so thankful to be able to do what I love, I am thankful for my clients who are amazing, fun, understanding and passionate. Who entrust me with the most awesome journeys, who call me when they are most in need, or just need a holiday!I am also thankful I can do what I love whilst also being a mum and a wife and a farm assistant! Mobile and also from home.

Here’s to the next 10 year 🥂

⚠️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️

The Australian Border Force will be commencing works to upgrade the SmartGate kiosks for Arrivals at Terminal 1 International from Monday 14 August 2023.

All passengers arriving internationally will be processed manually through Passport Control. The new SmartGates will be ready for use by the end of September 2023.
If you are arriving into Perth or picking up someone from Terminal 1 International, please allow more time.

Ever since I first boarded the plane on my first trip to Thailand I have been passionate about travel. I have been extremely lucky to have travelled all over the world and love nothing more than to share my experiences whilst creating memories with my clients. I now live on our family farm with my husband and two children. MTA Travel has given me the amazing opportunity to do what I love whilst giving me the flexibility I needed having a young family!
