Sleeping rough is the most visible form of homelessness, but did you know that 94% of the 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness each night are hidden from sight? They could be sleeping in cars, couch surfing or have some form of shelter but lack a permanent place to call home.

Since 2021, the Coates Foundation has supported Mission Australia with more than $120,000 in donations and 1,000+ volunteer hours. Our efforts include garden and room makeovers at shelters in Sydney and working bees at vital crisis care and support centres in NSW, WA and Queensland.

Scaling Sydney's steepest street takes grit and determination, but the Humpty Dumpty Foundation’s annual Balmoral Burn is more than just a physical challenge.

The ‘Coates Climbers’ joined over 2,000 participants on Sunday to raise funds and make a difference in the lives of sick children across Australia.

The Coates Foundation also donated over $75,000 of hire equipment and $25,000 to fund vital medical equipment.

Our team in Perth were busy working the phones at Telethon7 Perth on Sunday night in support of our West Business Unit charity of choice under the Coates Foundation.

The team processed donations from the public during the final three hours of the 26-hour extravaganza, with a record-breaking $77,467,775 raised for sick children.

Thanks to the generosity of West Australians and to our team - David Howes, Simon Sander, Kylie Sander, Claire Van Der Putten, Ava Naylor, Amanda Alves, Ronan Page, Dylan Clayton. Shaun Fitzpatrick, Isabella Noble-Andrew, Cherrie Gillard, Ashlea King and Ashlee Bendeich - for donating their time to this great cause.
