Con un emozionante intervento alla presenza dell’Ambasciatore Italiano in Australia, Josephine ha raccontato la bellezza della nostra terra, fatta di tradizioni, sapori autentici e cultura enogastronomica unica.

The ‘EmpowerHer’ event was one of several initiatives rolled out by Irpinia Escapes during Sumer 2024.
Also at the event were Mariangela Cioria and Maria Paglia, who regaled significant stories collected in their book “Tu si femm’na”, which is an anthropological work on the women who have made a lasting impact on Irpinia.
Christie Whitehill also travelled from Australia to attend the event, adding her perspective with her experiences as an entrepreneur and mother; and Tatiana Cagnola, representative of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Sydney, illustrated the training project for young women who want to venture into entrepreneurship.
In fact, attendees were encouraged to come armed with their resume, as the opportunity for two girls to participate in internships offered by the Irpinia Escapes: one at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Sydney, and the other at the ENIT (Italian National Tourism Authority.
Special guest of the evening was singer-songwriter Grazia Di Michele, who delivered a special acoustic set.

Irpinia Escapes presented a cultural event titled EmpowerHer “Energy is Woman” in the Castle of Gesualdo on Sunday July 28, to great success and a warm welcome from locals as well as guests who had travelled from abroad to attend the inaugural event.
The well-attended evening celebrated women who have dedicated their work to female self-determination both in Irpinia and abroad.
