KAROOL CIRCA 1853
Filled the pond today at Karool to bring to life the floating stepping stones and fitted the final piece of the big 3D puzzle - a hand forged steel gate using Kangaroo Brand hames from the 1930's and some huge Clydesdale shoes.

Dropped in on a job we completed 3 years ago.
This style of planting is what I would call our 'Signature Style'.
Lots of different shape, colour and texture, everything growing beautifully.

PLANT OF THE WEEK
Lagerstromia - Crepe Myrlte
Flowering right now - a must have small tree for your garden.
A multitude of flowering colours, white through varying shades of pink to red.
They also feature exfoliating bark that gives added value through the winter months.

Finished just in time for Santa's visit!
Low retaining walls and pillars with sawn bluestone capping and stucco render finish, exposed aggregate driveways and sawn bluestone paths. Reclaimed wharf timber arbour and lush green planting set to grow and flourish in their new garden beds.

THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!
The 2014 Victorian Landcape Awards are over for another year and Seasons Landscape came very close to adding to the trophy cabinet.
Finalists for our Wollert dry stone walling project in both Feature in the Landscape and Hard Structures - we received commendations in both categories. Also a special mention to Darcy for making the finals for Apprentice of the Year.
As for next year, we've started work on a new feature wall - we'll keep you posted.

Create the blank canvas, start digging holes, fill the holes with concrete, raise the the walls!
Progress shots from our Brighton Hill project - leveling out a sloping block, four new split level garden beds with feature planting, sawn bluestone paving, exposed aggregate driveways with sawn bluestone boarders, garden lighting and irrigation.

AWARD JUDGING
These two projects have recently been judged for the Landscaping Victoria Awards of Excellence 2014.
The Dry Stone Wall in 'Hard Structures' and the Conversation Pit in 'Residential Landscape $50,000-$100,000'.
The winners will be announced at a Gala event at the Grand Hyatt on October 18 - you never know your luck in a big city!
