Cathedral Peak Hotel is nestled in the stunning Drakensberg Mountains Range, on the edge of the Giants Castle Game Reserve. The hotel boasts 104 rooms, each spacious and well appointed. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, heating, a fan, cable TV, a telephone, an in-room safe, tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar.

Facilities include 2 swimming pools, tennis, squash and badminton courts, a 9-hole golf course, an indoor games room, a gym, 2 bars and a restaurant. Paris, France - the Eiffel Tower was initially intended to be dismantled after 20 years. It was saved because it became a strategic radio antenna.

- The Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 World's Fair to showcase France's industrial strength.

- The tower's creator, Gustave Eiffel, only had a 20-year permit to use the land.

- Eiffel incorporated a radio antenna and wireless telegraph transmitter into the tower's design.

- The tower's scientific uses, including radio transmissions and telecommunications, saved it from destruction.

- The tower's strategic potential became evident when it was used as a military radio post in 1903.

- The tower's contract was renewed for 70 years in 1910.

What is a Travel Counsellor?

Travel Counsellors is an award-winning travel company that focuses on putting the customers first, the company empowers people who are passionate about travel and running their own home-based travel businesses.

I was drawn to Travel Counsellors because of their customer-orientated ethos, and I knew that as an independent consultant I would have the flexibility to be able to truly connect and provide value to my clients.

As a Travel Counsellor, I am available to you around the clock. You won't need to visit a retail store, hang around in a lengthy line-up, getting passed from agent to agent. I look after you from start to finish.

More About Me

Before joining the Travel Counsellor team in 2018, I had worked in various roles within the travel industry. The more time I spent helping coordinate client itineraries and group tours, the stronger my passion grew to make a career from it.

I have a range of experience in booking detailed domestic and international travel itineraries.

My clients have enjoyed the varied experiences I have helped create for them, with many returning to me as repeat travellers.

My speciality is individual and group tours, and I am available to es**rt you on your next international tour to give you that extra peace of mind knowing you are being looked after from start to finish.

I have been very fortunate to visit many destinations over the years, here are some of favourites:

Great Britain - the history is undeniably interesting.

New Zealand - our neighbours with beautiful landscapes and an abundance of activities.

South Africa & Zimbabwe - both amazing countries with so much diversity, incredible landscapes and wildlife.

USA & Canada - from historical to picturesque, and from adventure to luxury.

China - incredible history and traditions, yet growing so fast in both economy and tourism.
