𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟎𝟏 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 Last Tuesday I happily attended the celebration of Zonta’s Birthday. Zonta is an amazing global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Their vision is a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman can achieve her full potential. When I joined Zonta Club of Toowoomba Inc in November 2013, I was excited to be part of an organisation that was solely for the empowerment and support of Women and children. The values behind this organisation really resonated with me. Since joining I have been able to serve the community in many ways. I have been involved in lots of decision making and fundraising events assisting many needy women’s causes within Toowoomba – Protea House, YWCA Y Hand Up program, many of the Women’s Shelters in the city, Teen Challenge and many more. I’m truly grateful to be part of something that is so passionate about supporting global and local worthy causes. 💕 Feel free to check out the delicious cake we had made for the occasion on Tuesday in the comments.
