SJM Group was established in 2007, bringing with it 35 years experience through company directors Shane Newman and Jason Gale. We use the latest technology and equipment, specializing in the construction of Golf Courses, Sports Fields & Horse Racing Tracks and carry out all aspects of civil earthmoving and infrastructure Projects.

Frances will be managing research and policy, Kim is guiding education and training and Celeste will be leading communications.

Bookkeeper / Administration Role
We are actively searching for a Bookkeeper / Administration Person to assist with our business.
The role can be flexible hours between school pickups etc and more than happy for someone to work from home from time to time when required.

Hours to be determined however we would expect 2 to 3 days a week as minimum to start with.

Can be an immediate start.

Preferred skills as below including the use of Xero Accounting Software.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECEIVABLE

Receive & Enter all Invoices
Collate & Issue to Manager
Pay Accounts upon Approval
Undertake Account Applications for new Suppliers
Prepare Invoices for Clients
Advise when Payments Received

BAS, PAYG & SUPER

Prepare & Pay Statutory Items such as PAYG & Superannuation
Prepare & Pay Quarterly BAS

PAYROLL

Prepare Payroll for 10 to 15 Staff (Current Numbers)
Collate Weekly Hours from Staff
Manage Staff Leave & Accrual Records

GENERAL

Bank Reconciliations
Assist with Tender Preparations
Reconcile Credit cards
Manage Fuel Tax Credits
Manage Vehicle Fuel Cards & Registrations
Manage Telstra Accounts
Manage Linkt Accounts
Manage Bank Guarantees & Retentions Register
Assist with OH&S Compliance Documentation

Some of you may be already aware, but I would like to take this opportunity to inform everybody that I have chosen to sell my Share of SJM Turf & Civil. This is not a decision I have taken lightly, but the time is right for me to move onto a new chapter in my life. This will mean I will no longer be apart of the company that I co-founded nearly 17 years ago. I would like this opportunity to thank all the people I have worked with during this time. With out the opportunities & support you have given myself & SJM over this time, it would not be where it is today & I will be forever grateful to all of you.
