Doreen Probus Club enjoying their trip to Newcastle. The riverboat Postman Cruise on the Hawkesbury River, Hunter Valley Gardens (complete with dinosaurs and bugs), wine tasting, Newcastle cathedral, fort scratchley with more to come tomorrow with a dolphin Cruise at Port Stephen’s before flying home. Weather has been kind too - always a bonus !

Just returned from a terrific tour of Mount Gambier and the Great Ocean road with Woorayl and foster Probus clubs. Tour included many visits - yallum Park homestead, Tantanoola caves, Robe, Millicent, Penola, the stunning blue Lake, Port MacDonnell, apostles and mischief more. Great group ❤️
Knox Over 50s Club tour of Newcastle and port stephens. A cruise on the Riverboat Postman along the Hawkesbury, the stunning Hunter valley with time at the gardens (getting ready for their Xmas light spectacular), wines and chocs, a visit to the Cathedral and Fort scratchley. Last day a dolphin cruise before flying home with many memories.
Yea Probus spent 2 days in and around Bright followed by 4 days at lakes entrance. Chilly start to the trip then glorious sunshine ☀️
Four day tour to Halls Gap with the Craigieburn Probus group. Fabulous lookouts and the amazing Five Ducks Farm hosted by Anita and Andy who showed us around and gave us a taste of their amazing produce
First few days of Mill Park Garden club tour. First night Warracknabeal and seeing some of the silo art trail. Other visits include the Stick Shed at Murtoa, Lake Lascelles, Lake Tyrrell. NExt a 4 night stay at Mildura……
Food and Wine appreciation group tour this week. Many wine tastings including the fabulous King Valley and a bit of Ned Kelly history.
First few days of Woodlands Ladies Probus trip to Lakes entrance with visits to Paynesville and Raymond island, nyerimilang homestead amd more. More to come.

On our 4 night / 5 day stay in Wangaratta. As well as the silos at Devenish, St James and Goorambat we saw this amazing mural ‘Sophia’ in the tiny Uniting Church.
Final days of the Northwest Garden Tour with visits to Highfield House in Stanley, the Arthur River Cruise, Emu Valley Rhodo Garden and the spectacular gardens at Kaydale Lodge. Tour finished on a high.
First two days of our Northwest Garden Tour visiting Cradle Mountain, Sheffield, Van Diemens Tulips, Wynyard tulip festival and more. Staying at one of the best places in the world, Stanley on the northwest coast of Tasmania, home of ‘The Nut’
It’s hard to believe but we still have no internet connection! After much troubleshooting and back and forth with our provider we will be receiving a new modem next week and all being well should be back online soon.

Sadly our email issues are not yet resolved. Our supplier, Commander, have nbn outages in VIC, NSW and WA. This is on top of our original issue but means we can’t take steps to resolve it until this is fixed. Apparently many connections are affected, maybe yours too.

Today a visit to the Elvis Graceland Exhibition in Bendigo
Day out at the fabulous Mont de Lancey in Wandin. Interesting tour followed by yummy lunch at the Two Peas in a Pod Cafe on site.
Day tours this week featured the amazing Panorama Gardens in Boneo (a MUST visit), Yarra Valley with lunch at the Kinglake Pub, and the incredible Hanging Rock
Echuca week! Noble park Probus with 3 members 90+years young, enjoyed a paddle steamer cruise on the Murray, a day to Deniliquin including a visit to The Depot, a day to Boort visiting salute Oliva and the Spannerman, charlie carp, the great Aussie beer shed, silo art and much more. Great week!!
A fabulous few days staying in WAngaratta with the woodlands Ladies Probus (and extras). Silos, homesteads, lake cruise, deer farm, great food and great company.
Day out to the Country Dahlias in Winchelsea. What a display! 🌸

After Merimbula Mill Park Garden Club stayed 2 nights at Lakes Entrance. They took a lakes cruise, visited Nyerimilang Homestead, Norm Nielsen’s photo gallery in Metung (with morning tea in their home, great hosts), on the way home stopping at Timeless Memories with collections from yesteryear.
After beating road closures during a wet and wild drive to Merimbula we arrived with the Mill Park Garden Club on the first stay of the tour. Visiting the beautiful Foxglove Gardens, Central Tilba, Killer Whale Museum, guided tours of Eden and Merimbula, unusual Op Shop purchases (freaky Filbert Fox), Pambula, and more. Our hosts at the Pelican Motor inn were fabulous with yummy breakfasts. See next post for continuation…..
