If you've got a power hungry device for navigation and the standard USB doesn't keep up, the Lampa might be worth looking at.
There's plenty of solutions and some will provide higher outputs, like PD etc, we found the Lampa USB fix works well compared to other QC3 outlets or wireless chargers.
With a switchable QC3 or a Quadlock wireless, our Samsung started at 100% and it'd be around 5 or 10% at the end of a day with nav, bluetooth and music.
With the Lampa, it actually exceeds the draw from the device.
Mount it anywhere that's convenient, we mounted this one behind the screen on the DesertX, and use BlackTac around any USB ports to keep the water out.

Another DMD Navigation tip, this time adding/removing the turn indicators on the map screen.
Often asked, what's the best app for Navigation? Just like tyres, personal preference and different conditions require different choices. We use and recommend GAIA and DMD when loading tracks or routes. A majority of our customers switched from Hema to GAIA when the app changed, it was an easy and familiar experience, because the original Hema was actually built on a modified GAIA backend. We still use Hema when exploring, when it comes to Aus, they are still the best source of accurate and detailed map sets. We started using DMD when it first came out, it has continued to evolve into a platform seeing many riders deciding on this rather than a dedicated GPS device. We see lots of glitches and as many user errors with all apps and devices, often it's just simple things that cause the greatest of frustrations! One of those is saving and accessing waypoints vs points of interest, here's a quick update on saving waypoints to a recorded track on DMD. Another is the lag on GAIA, riders experience missing a track or waypoint, because the pointer is way behind your actual location, by the time it catches up, you're already a long way past where you're meant to be. There's some settings and changes that can eliminate that, we'll update that one, along with some standard set up guides in our new FAQ section and GSR pre ride mailouts soon.

Yes, it's coming back. The 4WD touring experience and fundraiser for Lifeline. DC said, it's about time we did this in Vic and NSW, and what a great way to support the amazing work of Lifeline. I'm really fortunate to still be here, my own journey is a constant reminder of the benefits found from 4WDing and Adventure Riding. We need to do more of that! .......... When it comes to BigBikes in the High Country, choose your trails wisely. What comes easy on a 450 can easily bring you undone on 200+ kgs. Places like Cobbler, the Staircase, Jeep track, Refrigerator Gap track and TM Hill, whilst not extreme, they're not really 'touring tracks' and can very easily bring tears to an otherwise fantastic High Country experience. We have a superb hard option to Craig's Hut, 'depending on weather and final conditions' prior to the 4Day.
