Here's a look at one of the filters taken from our DesertX during testing for Funnelweb Filters Australia.
It's always a pleasure working with companies to provide real world feedback for product development and improvements.
....
(repost from @funnelwebfilterau) Take a look at how our Ducati DesertX filter did after 5000km of adventure riding 👀
When designing the Ducati Desert X air filter we aimed to address any possible shortcomings of the standard air intake set-up and produce an element that would withstand the sand, dirt and dust encountered during serious adventure riding.
Check it out online or in-stores Australia-wide and take your DesertX to new heights! 🌄

Another DMD Navigation tip, this time adding/removing the turn indicators on the map screen.
Often asked, what's the best app for Navigation?
Just like tyres, personal preference and different conditions require different choices.
We use and recommend GAIA and DMD when loading tracks or routes.
A majority of our customers switched from Hema to GAIA when the app changed, it was an easy and familiar experience, because the original Hema was actually built on a modified GAIA backend.
We still use Hema when exploring, when it comes to Aus, they are still the best source of accurate and detailed map sets.
We started using DMD when it first came out, it has continued to evolve into a platform seeing many riders deciding on this rather than a dedicated GPS device.
We see lots of glitches and as many user errors with all apps and devices, often it's just simple things that cause the greatest of frustrations!
One of those is saving and accessing waypoints vs points of interest, here's a quick update on saving waypoints to a recorded track on DMD.
Another is the lag on GAIA, riders experience missing a track or waypoint, because the pointer is way behind your actual location, by the time it catches up, you're already a long way past where you're meant to be.
There's some settings and changes that can eliminate that, we'll update that one, along with some standard set up guides in our new FAQ section and GSR pre ride mailouts soon.
