There's no denying we love the Cape and all it has to offer, but we'd love to know what your favourite part of the Cape is.

There's so(oooo) much history in and around the Cape York Peninsula, it's no wonder people want to visit and take it all in.

Did you know? During WWII several airfields were established in Cape York, particularly around Weipa and The Tip - they were crucial for Allied forces.
Also, if you're travelling through the region, you might be (or maybe not?) aware of the number of WWII plane wreckages still in the area, they serve as a timely reminder of the intense military activity that once took place.
