**Authorised by: P.Murrihy Clarke Street, Newtown I am 57, married with three daughters and have been a resident and ratepayer of Brownbill Ward for more than 30 years. A former Victoria Police prosecutor, I left the force to help raise our family. Now the girls are young adults, I
have the time, focus and energy to become more involved in the community. This involvement already includes St Mary’s Football Club (life member), Geelong Amateurs (former senior coach), Newtown & Chilwell Football Netball Club (senior football coach, junior netball coach) and Lorne SLSC (president). I am also a member of the Geelong Racing Club committee, Geelong Environment Council and AFL Barwon Tribunal (chairman). With no political connections, I offer a totally independent voice on council and will work tirelessly for ratepayers at the ‘grass roots’ level as well as helping implement the city’s long-term vision. Through proven leadership skills, life experience and a clear understanding of the community’s expectations, I am committed to enhancing Geelong as a place in which to live, work and invest.
LAST month, I had the great pleasure of attending the Geelong West Library for the annual National Simultaneous Storytime event. Seeing the faces of the young kids in the room light up each year listening to the story, which I once again had the honour of reading, is always a wonderful thrill. Days....

Over 300 people enjoying food/wine on a beautiful afternoon. The Foundation is so well lead by my friend here, Zoe Condy.

Kick off will start from midday onwards - all are welcome 🙌

Then, I kicked off the weekend in the Great Ocean Road bike ride!
A busy day today firstly with Cr Kontelj to help launch the new season for the Newtown City Hockey Club and acknowledge a $340,000 contribution from COGG for the Pavilion expansion.
Then joining John Eren MP at the Hamlyn Park Tennis Club to say a few words and help launch their new season and celebrate the upgraded facilities. A good day.
An inspiring night at Waurn Ponds Estate last night to get an update on the brand new state of the art Anam Cara House Geelong
A home/hospital for people living with life limiting illnesses. This facility will give guests choice and dignity when it matters most. Keep a look out for the appeal later in the month.

Very excited to witness the first live gig by Goanna Band in 27 years last Sunday at the Deans Marsh Cricket Ground.
