🌳 THE 2024 MOVEMBER HIKE CHALLENGE IS HERE

This year I'll be hiking our 10km Dandenongs circuit from 'Dusk till Dawn' on Friday November 22 to raise funds and awareness for Movember.

🥾 HIKE WITH ME

I'm looking for 40 people who want to join me on one of the loops which start at 5pm, 9pm, 1am and 5am, plus I'll be carrying the 'Big Mo' for the entire hike.

🗺️ THE DETAILS

The Dandenongs circuit is 12km long and suitable for most levels of fitness with approximately 400m of elevation gain and like every Get Outside hike, I'll be with you every step of the way to complete the loop.

Tickets are $100 per head and EVERY CENT goes straight to Movember helping mens health. You'll receive all the usual Get Outside gourmet snacks and celebratory drinks PLUS we've got some special stuff to announce later on!

🌳 In less than 48 hours I'll start the long drive up to my new home in Queensland. There is so much to be excited about with the move, but one decision that is ripping my heart apart right now is the fact that I am leaving behind this little guy.

Junior.

He is the most perfectly imperfect little fella who has been beside me through the best times, and the worst of times. I'll never forget walking in the door after driving out to the Cathedral Ranges a few years ago and watching him bound up to me to welcome me home like it was any other day.

While I'm not taking him with me now, my ex and I have decided he'll spend 6 months of the year in Melbourne and Winters in the warmth of Queensland.

On our last walkies this morning for a while we had so many hugs so if you've got a little four legged friend, give them an extra hug for me today

🌳 LIFE UPDATE: 2024 is all about new adventures and I'm so excited to share that in a few weeks I'll be making the move up to Queensland, basing myself in Brisbane!

After selling my home and thinking about what the next chapter looks like, it felt like the right time to mix things up, head north and follow my heart.

I've got so much love for the Melbourne community that we've built over the last five years, so I'll be back each month to continue more adventures with Renea and the crew in Victoria.

Making the move up north means new trails to explore and cant wait to build another Get Outside in Queensland - plus its's a great excuse to come and visit and join me for an adventure!

Get Outside Melbourne with a luxury private hiking experience

I love sharing special hiking locations you thought were only possible to see in the Australian outback, but they're are so many just a short drive away from Melbourne’s CBD. With a variety of spots perfect for any level of experience or fitness level, all you need to do is bring your camera/phone and I'll make sure you get some sensational adventure shots of you and your friends along the way.

On the day, you will be picked up in my luxury Range Rover 4x4, then we'll grab a coffee from my favourite cafe in Melbourne. After a short drive (up to 60 minutes) out to one of Melbourne's best hiking spots, I'll share my local knowledge of the environment, indigenous/cultural history and show you some of the most unforgettable sights. This experience is all about getting a taste of the Australian bush with a someone who has travelled all over the world but loves getting outside Melbourne
