Students learn from creative stylists, are equipped with the tools of the trade, and explore hairdressing and makeup artistry in a real salon and makeup studio environment.

Students undertake the Certificate II in Salon Assistant (SHB20216) throughout the program with a combination of Academy-based learning and work placement at a local salon. The combined delivery provides graduates with:
👉🏼the entry-level hairdressing qualification
👉🏼work placement with a local salon looking to hire a new apprentice
👉🏼hands-on experience in an authentic salon environment;
👉🏼an understanding if a hairdressing apprenticeship might be the right fit.
