Well, in exactly 5 months we will be in our beloved Egypt again and getting ready to start our 2023 Shelley & Alans Unique Tours of Egypt it's seems like a life time since we were there in 2019, well before COVID changed our world.

What's on my mind? Egypt in 2023!!

Stay tuned we are currently working on our September 2023 unique tour of Egypt.

There are lots of new and exciting places being included in our itinerary including the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, a day trip to Alexandria and a visit to the rarely visited Temple of Khnum at Esna. We also hope the Grand Egyptian Museum will be open by then so we are including a visit in our plans.

Our 2016 tour included a private tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum which is nearing completion at Giza with a spectacular view over Giza plateau and the pyramids. The museum will possibly be the largest archaeological museum in the world covering over 50 hectares. Part of this tour included exclusive access to the conservation area where we saw the restoration of many artefacts including the restoration of a pair of Tutankhamen's sandals.

This gives me goosebumps, reawakening the Egyptian Gods!!
