Refound: This was me at 10, with Prince my friend's dog. Skinny as: a runner, a talker, a dreamer. Before my hair grew down to my waist. Before everything. Before time.

I was driving last week, wanting to be all the things of my childhood, when *flash/bang, I realised that I was all of those things, and more.
I am a mother, a wife (not a very good one, but still here, nevertheless) a social worker, a writer, an architect, an interior designer, a creator, a broadcaster, a reporter, a photographer, an so on. I just didn't realise it. I grew up to build a Holden Dealership with my husband, only to see it pulled out from under our feet. I became the first Funeral Photographer in Australia and the first Roving Reporter for ABC Radio in Australia. Not a bad life.
Sometimes ordinary people live extraordinary lives.
The point is...don't stress, things fall into place and what will be, will be. You can follow my journey in my soon-to-be-published memoir: Growing up Patty.

Wishing you a happy, peaceful and loving day of celebrating the birth of a baby, born in a lowly manager, in a country far, far away. I am so proud of our Australian wine industry and our Tassie champagnes. 🍾 Tasmanian Pirie Sparkling Wine named ‘best in the world’ at global awards. ne of the judges and seasoned wine professional Toni Patterson awarded it an impressive 97 out of 100 points, describing it as: “Bright, fresh and zippy. Fresh lemon. Cracked wheat. Gorgeous brioche flavours. I love the length and energy of this wine.” Participation in this elite competition is by invitation only, with current competitors including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States and South Africa.

"I'm only halfway through Growing Up, Rocky, and I begrudge putting it down.
The way you write makes me feel like I'm sitting there with you, and we're just chatting, or I'm taking every step along the way, seeing, hearing, feeling it all with you. And wherever you are - I'm there in the picture with the intricate details gently draping through.

I also like the directness and candid way in which you write, it's personal and honest, and the tiny details make everything so alive. It makes me feel as if I can trust what you're saying.

Some memoirs gloss over the difficult stuff or leave out stuff that's hard to put on the page.
But in your memoir, Patty, there is a sincere authenticity that seems to shine throughout
