Reality: The tour operators and hotels pay us a commission, so you donโt pay extra. Whether you book online or through me, the supplier pays my commissionโnot you. In many cases, I can even offer discounts on cruises and tours thanks to exclusive industry rates. Not always, but often. So why not book with me, pay the same (or less), and support a real person rather than a big online corporation?

Thereโs some truth to this. Most airlines stopped paying commission after COVID, so I charge a small fee to book flights. But this fee covers more than just bookingโI find the best routes, ensure smooth connections, and advise you on which airlines are reliable. I know which ones offer the cheapest fares but might leave you stranded when things go wrong. Sometimes, I can even secure special rates that save you hundreds of dollars. Plus, if something goes wrong, I deal with the airlineโso you donโt have to. Iโm always upfront about my fees.

Not true! When you book with me, youโre supporting a small local business. When you book online, youโre supporting massive retail chains. If you run into issues while traveling, will an online booking site answer your urgent WhatsApp message? Will they pick up the phone when you really need them? Iโve had clients assume they were helping me by booking online and then asking me to just book their flights , then they come back frustrated when they needed support and couldnt get it. If in doubt ASK if it's worth me booking and if I have time...you will always get an honest answer.....you know the saying ..never assume..๐

I canโt speak for everyone, but Iโm always upfront and transparent about my fees before we even start the booking process. You either value my expertise or you donโtโand thatโs okay. Recently, a client told me a well-known travel brand had "no fees." When I checked their airfare quote, my price was $3,000 cheaper for the exact same flightsโeven with my $100 fee per ticket.... mmmm no fees really ?

The one thing we hate more than anything is when you book online and then reach out for help when things go wrong, or ask us advice that you can't get off the internet, its really insulting. I get an email or call at least once a week asking for help but they didnโt want to book with me !!!
My clients pay for my time by booking with me and allowing me to earn a commission from their booking. Thatโs how my business works. Itโs not fair to expect free advice or emergency assistance when you didnโt value our expertise in the first place.
