A local fire ban prohibiting the lighting of fires in the open has been declared by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) from 0001hrs on Wednesday 25 October 2023 to 2359hrs on Monday 20 November 2023, for the Fraser Coast Regional Council, and Gympie Regional Council areas.

2022 is nearly finished! Here's our availabilities for 2023 so far.

What you need to know:

• Friday - Friday bookings only
• You can find us on Stayz & Airbnb or you can book privately through Caylah. (Better rates privately)
• sleeps a maximum of 9 guests including kids (no more than 6 adults!)
• Bed linen, pillows, tea towels, table cloths and floor mats provided. BYO bath and beach towels & face washers
• Ocean views
• Located on Eliza Avenue
• Ample parking space on front lawn for boats and cars.
• Ample fridge / freezer space with 2 fridges and a chest freezer
• 10kg top loader washing machine
• Microwave, slow cooker, sandwich press, electric kettle, toaster, bread maker, mixers, oven, griller, gas stove etc. Available
• instantaneous gas hot water with removable shower head and great water pressure
• 2 separate toilets
• undercover patio with BBQ and seating
• smart TV, DVD player with a few DVDs and a super comfy 3-seater recliner couch
• plenty of power points for charging your phones, cameras, laptops, etc.

Fish are biting
Remember the fishing closure /exclusion zone for WADDY POINT & INDIAN HEAD .

Fraser Island: eastern foreshore waters and waters within 400 m out to sea from the eastern shore at low water, between 400 m north of Waddy Point and 400 m south of Indian Head. Closed from 1 August to 29 September, starting immediately after midnight at the beginning of 1 August and ending immediately before midnight at the end of 29 September. This closure applies to the taking of fin fish only. Fishers can collect worms and pipis by hand in this area during the closure.
