UPDATED: ✈️ Want to travel overseas but not sure about the rules?

Fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents (and their immediate family) can now fly into NSW without having to quarantine:

• You need to be double vaccinated with a recognised COVID-19 vaccine, or be accompanied by someone 18+ who has if you’re under 12 years old
• If you meet the vaccination and the Australian Government pre-departure testing requirements you can leave the airport as normal
• Within 24 hours of arriving in NSW, you must have a COVID-19 nose and throat PCR test.
• Get another test on or after day 7 after arriving in NSW. You don’t have to isolate while waiting for your results, unless you have symptoms. Until you get a negative result from your day 7 test you can’t go to any high-risk settings such as aged care, disability care, healthcare and correctional facilities. Different rules apply to children under 12 who are unvaccinated.
• If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19 at any time while in NSW, you must immediately get tested for COVID-19 and isolate until you receive a negative result.

The Canadian government will soon require all airline travellers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Many other countries are also mandating vaccines.

So.... you may have noticed I've been pretty quiet so far this year...
The main reason for this is having to take on an almost full time job elsewhere to keep my little agency open financially due to no financial support available to me as a sole trader from the government. As you can imagine, the last 12 months have been soul crushing at times and it's taken a big toll on my love for travel.

Today was "crunch time" and I had a big choice to make. Either pack it up, essentially throwing the last 5 years and my passion away or struggle through the next 12 months again.... I chose the later! It's gonna be hard but I have great clients that love travel as much as I do and I know that all my plans and hard work will be worth it when all the borders re-open and we can share this love of travel again.
