Well my phone has been ringing re Gather Round weekend 🥹😍

Wow! I just did the sums and there are now 1,400 people interested in our events for that weekend with a few hundred tickets sold 🫣

I really don't know how to thank you all for supporting this!

Now I have a couple of amazing announcements to make:

We’ve got a lineup of local legends joining us to celebrate and show off the best of our stunning Barossa Valley Produce!

~ Seppeltsfield Road Distillers - because they make seriously delicious gin
~ Barossa Helicopters - because seeing the oval and the Barossa from the air is just a must for all visitors
~ The Lord Lyndoch - because we had dinner there the other night and it was the best steak i've ever had

Exciting news from a brand that’s been around for nearly 25 years. Here’s to 25 years more!

Groovy Grape…. Back to the future…….

Yes!! Groovy Grape is back!! Originally started in 1997, Groovy Grape had humble beginnings with one bus, Dallas at the wheel, and Bev (his Mum) taking bookings over the phone. Within a couple of years, Groovy had 15 buses operating multiple award-winning tours between Melbourne-Adelaide-Alice Springs.

Then, the devastating and World changing event, September 11 happened. The World was shaken and the tourism industry all but collapsed. Travel agents owing huge amounts to Groovy closed, and Dallas had to put his treasured Groovy into voluntary administration.

Fast forward to the present day… and excitingly we can announce that our family business ‘See Adelaide and Beyond’ has re-purchased Groovy Grape. Our current tourism company is doing really well, but we all knew Dallas had unfinished business with Groovy.

To everyone who has worked for Groovy or traveled on a tour over the past 25 years, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You will always be part of our Groovy family, and we’d love you to reconnect. Thank you to the past custodians of Groovy, Chris Brougham and Bruce Barnes, Groovy will live on because of your hard work and dedication.

The first tours we are relaunching are our Groovy Barossa Day out and the Groovy Kangaroo Island 2-day Wildlife Adventure. We are super excited about energising South Australia with a brand that talks to those wanting a sense of fun and adventure, and we can’t wait to see where our family can take Groovy Grape Adventures in this exciting new chapter. Most people get to see a stunning South Australian sunset from our metropolitan beaches like Glenelg, However for those lucky few that get to experience a The Frames - Riverland Luxury sunset, we are extremely jealous!!!

But oh, those Riverland, South Australia sunsets! 🌅🙌

Mother Nature sure knows how to paint a decent canvas around here... As our chef cooks up your five-star dinner and the Sun slips over the horizon, all that’s left to do is clink glasses, slip in your jacuzzi and toast to a day well spent in paradise!
