Ormond Ski Club The Ormond Ski Club is a private club for past and present Ormond College students, with bookings only open to members and their guests.

Welcome to the Facebook home of the Ormond Ski Club, a Lodge at Mount Hotham in the Victorian Alps that provides accommodation for past and present students (and their families) of Ormond College at The University of Melbourne. The club has about 250 active members with an extra 160 or so family members. During the ski season the Lodge is a place to base ourselves while we ski, board and relax. Ac

commodation rates include all meals, with each resident completing a chore each day to help keep the Lodge running. Chores range from cooking, to cleaning up after meals, keeping the fire going, and clearing (hopefully lots of) snow from the balconies. The Ormond Ski Club Lodge was built in the late 1960s by an avid bunch of skiers who wanted to have accommodation on the mountain that they could ski in and out of. The original members of the lodge put their hearts and souls into creating both a fantastic place to stay, and the exceptional camaraderie that makes a stay at the Lodge such an enjoyable experience. Everyone eats dinner together with meals prepared by those rostered to cook - and it's an experience cooking for 38 people! The communal atmosphere of the Lodge provides a warm, friendly environment for members and their guests.

Please be advised of the following dates for bookings:
8pm Monday 24th April 2023 --> Member Block Bookings open
8pm Monday 1st May 2023 --> Guest Block Bookings open
8pm Monday 8th May 2023 --> General Bookings open

Please note that Block Bookings are for:
1. Full Weekends (arrive Friday, leave Sunday)
2. Full Weeks (arrive Sunday, leave Friday)
3. Any combination of the above

Please be advised that if you have not paid your annual subscriptions that you will not be able to book. Late subscription payments will also have an associated delay in processing time, which may further impede booking. As a reminder, subscriptions were due on February 28th 2023.
