I’ve been so blessed over the past few days to spend time with my family at Club Med Bintan. The food is incredible and caters to all age groups and tastes, the service amazing and the staff exceptional. I really do love Club Med for that all inclusive style holiday!

🤩 A little over 5 Years ago I decided to take a huge leap and leave the security of working for someone else to start my own business as a Personal Travel Manager, even though there have been some huge challenges (namely a Global Pandemic 🦠 ) I can honestly still say it is the best decision that I have ever made. 🙏🏻

Recently I received the news that no employer wants to hear from an employee that they love and value.. "This is my letter of resignation." 😢

Shirlie has had some health issues recently and really needs to just slow down, so she has made the very tough decision to leave the travel industry after more than 35 years. 💔
(She is ok, just needs to slow down)

I have worked with Shirlie for more than 10 years, firstly at another local agency, and then was honored to have her come and work with me for the past 7 months. I certainly wish it could have been for much longer but these things happen and health 100% takes priority!

To all her clients that currently have bookings, I know she has either spoken to you or emailed you personally, but please feel rest assured that I will look after you and that you are in good hands. 🙌

And to Shirlie Baum I look forward to still catching up for dinner with you and the old work crew like we do (and should do more often) and I wish you all the best with everything! Thank you xo

🤩 When Blake emailed me from Tanzania, saying he wanted to extend his time and could I look into changing his flights home to a few days later. I said, "Sure, let me check the airline costs, and your car parking and extend your insurance policy." Little did I know that was the easy part because I got that all organized and then the next email read.. "Because I want to climb Mt Kilimanjaro", One part of my mind was thinking WOW, 😮 that is awesome but the other part of me thinks... 🤨 ... I'm not sure how straightforward that is going to be to add to your insurance because I knew it wasn't going to be something that was going to be automatically covered and we had only 3 short days before his trek to get that sorted out 😱
A few phone calls and I had the forms I needed, got them through, and with a couple of back and forths, we got them filled out correctly, fast tracked the process and we had trekking added to his insurance the day before he set off on this epic adventure. 👏

Blake replied to my welcome home email last night at 11pm, I don't know how he was still awake and functioning after getting into Melbourne at 630pm but I am thankful because he shared all of this and I couldn’t wait to post it. 🤩 ❤️

"Climbing Kili was such an amazing experience. I’m definitely glad I extended my stay so I could do it. Thanks for helping me out last second again!
The climb was definitely the hardest thing physically and mentally. The first 3 days were pretty easy until the 4th day when we reached the summit. I did struggle with fatigue, altitude sickness, and a little bit of oxygen but in the end, it was definitely worth it. I think the day we summit we walked a total of 18 hours. 10 hours up, 4 hours down, and another 4 hours back to camp. Which was a pretty slow time but the longer you are up the top the harder everything gets with altitude, fatigue, and oxygen but was so determined to complete the course. "

🚢 And the Virgin Voyages showcase continues with a peak into some of the incredible entertainment they had onboard. 🎭.

🤔 how would I describe it aside from amazing?
Persephone are the first photos you can see and it was a Romeo and Juliet story but based on the greek gods. The story was told with acrobatics, dance and the lead vocalist had the most incredible voice. 👏 😯

🃏 Then the mind mangler, it was more of a comedic show than a mind/magic show but it was funny and we loved it. I was branded the crying travel agent 🤣 (I’ll see if I can find that video, another agent filmed it, when she realized it was me he was talking too) 😆

❤️ Scarlet night, one big party on board where everyone wears a touch of red. The whole ship turns red even the lights outside your cabin. That was our last night and a great way to finish off the cruise. 🚢

🚢 Day 2 Virgin Voyages preview cruise.

It started with breakfast in galley and then a bit more exploring, before all agents onboard had a presentation from the executive team. What a funny, remarkable and highly intelligent bunch of people they have at the helm.. It’s no wonder that staff morale is so high with such incredible leader’s. They had us all in laughter, and also tears sharing a few stories on the added inclusions that they have to keep their crew connected with their families (free WiFi and also allowing their family member to come onboard at their home ports were just a couple mentioned 🥰 )

I’d arranged to meet Ryan up on the top deck, and found him playing basketball I joined him for a few hoops (I sucked at that 😆).
So off I went again as they’d opened up all the cabin categories for us to go and see so I worked my way around checking out the mega rockstar suites, suites, terraces, Oceanview, interiors and solo rooms. It was so good to see them all and see all the differences first hand.

After all that I went down to secure an amazing offer for the first 10 cabins that I sell (I’ll share more about that later)
And then it was time for a cocktail - my work was done and it was time to just enjoy 🍹

🚢 I’m back!! What a great couple of days we had onboard resilient lady! 🥰

For anyone that knows me well, you’ll know that one of my favorite things is ice cream so a little bit of “Lick me till Ice Cream” was the first place on the ship we visited. 😋 it was pretty good, we went back a few times! Malted strawberry and key lime pie were my picks, rum and raisin & chocolate were nice too🍦
It was then time to check out our room. Thanks Virgin Voyages for the sea terrace. We loved the hammock!
Then We explored just a little before heading up to the pool deck for sailaway.
All food is included and so were the arcade games so no inserting money in these ones 😁 ❤️

PS - I just want to make a shout out to my mother and father in law Alan and Sue for having our girls while Ryan and I enjoyed our first few days away without kids because of course this ship is Adults Only. So thankful 💕

🚗The car is packed and we're hitting the road for some family time.

☀️We are off to the Gold Coast for a 7-night stay, and will then head back down the NSW coast, stopping off at South West Rocks and the Entrance before coming home.🏖

When Larissa told me she wanted to plan a holiday for her family to travel to Hawaii, I was so happy she contacted me. The Hawaiian Islands are one of my all-time favorite destinations and it always gives me great joy to work on itineraries to these beautiful Pacific islands. 😁🏝

On this trip, Larissa, Dan, and their 3 kids concentrated on the one island of Oahu, but instead of spending the whole time in Waikiki Beach like so many others, they broke it up with some time spread over the different areas of the Island.
Starting with 4 nights at Waikiki, where they visited Pearl Harbor, the Ala Moana Swap meet, hiked Diamond Head, and took surf lessons. The kids even managed to stand up - winning! 🏄‍♀️

From there they picked up a car and headed up to the North Shore, They visited Kualoa ranch enjoying some of the many activities they have available (From ziplining, Jurassic Park movie site tours, and ATV Rides) and an absolute highlight was the Polynesian Cultural Centre. Upgrading to the Super Ambassador package gave them a guide which they found invaluable in getting around all that there was to see and do, it even gave them front-row seats to the incredible luau. Larissa said she has never smiled so much as she did throughout that show. 🚘🎥

Now here is where I get really jealous because they finished their trip down south at the incredible Disney Resort, Aulani (This resort is on my bucket list) By this stage, they were ready to just relax, and this was the perfect place for it because the resort had so many amazing facilities and character experiences, that they didn't need to leave at all. 🍹🥰
